The Ohmu (王蟲, lit. "King of Bugs") are giant, intelligent, and sentient creatures appeared in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Along with other insects, fungi, and the New Humans, Ohmu is an artificial species being created by the Old Humans to cure the contaminated world.
