The Screaming Death is a gigantic, heavily mutated Whispering Death that first appeared in Dragons: Defenders of Berk. In "Cast Out, Part 2", Hiccup mentions that a Screaming Death egg is large and red. In School of Dragons, the appearance of a Screaming Death egg is very similar to a Whispering Death egg because the Screaming Death is apparently just a mutant Whispering Death.
