Goldberry, called the River-daughter, was the wife of Tom Bombadil in the Old Forest at the edge of Buckland. Little is known of the origin and nature of Goldberry except that it is implicited that she is a spirit of the river Withywindle, given she is said to be the River-woman's daughter.
