Diane Sanchez

Diane Sanchez, of Dimension C-137, is the deceased wife of Rick Sanchez and the mother of Beth Sanchez. Diane's death was the catalyst for the events prior to the beginning of the series and made Rick into who he is. The story of Diane was the overarching mystery of the series from Season 1 until Season 5. She and Beth were both murdered by Rick Prime after Rick C-137 refused his offer of interdimensional travel. The trauma of losing Diane caused Rick to spiral into a vengeful rampage, sending him on a lifelong journey...
