Ray the Flying Squirrel (レイ・ザ・フライングスクイレル, Rei za Furaingu Sukuireru?) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic flying squirrel who is Mighty the Armadillo's closest friend. He is a master at gliding and can use his tail in many special ways to use in combat to protect his friends.
