Tim (or Kyle) Stangler, better known by his superhero name Barnacle Boy, is the sidekick of Mermaid Man. He is a superhero and a parody of both Aqualad and Robin. He is said to be 68 years old. He first appears in the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy." Barnacle Boy's voice actor, the late Tim Conway, passed away in 2019.
