A long time ago, a human fell into the RUINS. Injured by its fall, the human called out for help. Froggit Chara Dreemurr, also known as the fallen human, is the first human to fall into the Underground. Chara is their "true name" on the naming screen, a reference to the protagonist's sprite being called "mainchara" in the files, though their canon name is whatever the player's real name is.
