The Magic Mirror is, as the name implies, a mirror who possesses magical abilities. He is primarily used to provide information on various individuals, and can be used like a television or iPad. The Magic Mirror is brought to Duloc at the request of Lord Farquaad. Farquaad has his captain bring him to the dungeons and asks the mirror if Duloc is the "most perfect kingdom of them all". The mirror truthfully tells Farquaad that Duloc isn’t a kingdom and that Farquaad isn't technically a king as he wasn't born from royalty...
