The Serpent Sisters (named Jo and Jan) are mercenaries and assassins that "Big" Jack Horner hires to find and deliver the map to the Wishing Star. The Serpent Sisters are two women who look and dress quite similarly. In fact, both wear completely black clothes, from the shirt, with the sleeves pulled up to the elbows, up to the trousers.
