What is FanBoosters? The trading card game of fandoms
FanBoosters turns fan wikis into collectible card sets. Here is what the game is, how a booster works, and why every card leads back to the community that wrote it.
Every fandom has a place where its most devoted fans have written everything down: who fought whom, which sword belongs to which hero, which boss hides behind which door. That place is the community wiki. FanBoosters turns those wikis into trading card games. Pick a universe, tear open a booster, and collect the characters, creatures and legends its fans already know by heart.
One game, every universe
FanBoosters is not one card game but a shelf of them. Each universe is a complete set with its own colours, its own rarities and its own collector numbers: One Piece, Genshin Impact, Marvel, Elden Ring, Dragon Ball, Gravity Falls, Undertale and many more. Your account is the same everywhere: one binder, many sets.
If you cannot pick, the All Collections booster draws from every universe at once. It is the fastest way to discover a fandom you did not know you would love.
How a booster works
A booster holds five cards. The first three are usually Commons and Uncommons, the fourth is at least Uncommon, and the fifth is the hit: always Rare or better, with a chance of Epic, Legendary or even Mythic. The cards are revealed one by one, best last, so the suspense builds the way it does with a real pack. We wrote a whole post on the booster odds if you like numbers.
Boosters are free. You hold up to ten booster tokens and get a new one every thirty minutes, so there is always a pack waiting when you come back.
Six rarities, one ladder
Cards climb from Common to Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic. Rarity follows fame: the characters everybody in a fandom knows are the ones worth chasing, and the bosses sit at the top of their set. Legendary and Mythic cards are full art, with holographic foil that catches the light as you move them. Mythics are numbered beyond the set, like secret rares: a 52/50 is exactly what it looks like.
Collect, trade, show off
Your collection tracks what you own and what you are still missing in every set. Put the cards you are hunting on your wishlist, show your best pulls in your vitrine, and add friends with a friend code. Friends can browse each other's binders and trade card for card, and anyone can sell or bid on the auction market. The trading guide explains how coins and auctions work.
Every card leads back to its wiki
This is the part we care about most. Each card is forged from one wiki page, and each card links back to that page, with the wiki's licence. Cards are an invitation to go read: open a Legendary, discover a character, fall down the wiki for an hour, come back for another pack. The wikis are written by their communities; FanBoosters is a fan project and is not affiliated with Fandom or with the rights holders of these universes. What comes next
